About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team at BCI. As a key member of our technology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of security requirements and design and implement security solutions to protect our systems and data.
  • Collaborate with business partners to deliver secure, quality products and services.
  • Work closely with our cyber security team to provide expert advice and guidance on security operations, technical services, and support.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security monitoring to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on security best practices and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our systems and data remain secure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively senior technical roles with responsibility focused on information security processes, products, and projects.
  • Expert knowledge in engineering secure systems, securing cloud environments, and implementing security technologies and solutions.
  • Excellent documentation, customer service, listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or CISM.
