Job Summary:

The Supply & Facilities team at Secure Energy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to support the commercial activities of the group. As a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maximizing crude oil & condensate production volumes shipped through our terminals & pipelines and optimizing commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of new commercial opportunities, including identifying new production sources, competing transportation economics, and optimization upsides.
  • Maintain optimization models related to Secure Facilities & 3rd party Operators.
  • Manage files related to Volume tracking, Pricing, Quality Equalization, Pipeline Tariffs, & Trucking Costs.
  • Liaise with the Scheduling group in monthly volume verifications and apportionment management.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management/Contracts group in the creation of new contracts/updating of current contracts.
  • Support the Marketing Accounting group in the monthly settlement process.
  • Participate in monthly financial performance reviews and assist in variance explanations.
  • Develop and maintain weekly & monthly reports relating to the performance of the business.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an Oil Marketing function would be beneficial.
  • A university or college degree in business or economics is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, results-focused, open-concept environment.
  • High attention to detail with excellent planning, communication & organization skills.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility.
