About the Role:

The University of Toronto is seeking an Experiential Learning Officer to join the Experiential Education Unit in the Office of the Vice-Principal Academic and Dean. This is a full-time term position ending May 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct labour market analysis to inform program and partnership development
  • Develop and revise business methods to support employment services activities and objectives
  • Ensure contracts and agreements are consistent with University standards and guidelines
  • Stay informed on policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines
  • Implement plans to support the development of work-integrated learning opportunities for students
  • Respond to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirect as appropriate

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of related experience in an experiential learning environment
  • Experience matching, placing, and supporting students in for-credit student placements
  • Experience in academic advising and providing guidance to students
  • Experience and work in student placement
  • Experience in program development and evaluation
  • Familiarity with database management systems and ROSI
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and apply complex community and university policies and regulations
  • Ability to positively represent the University in the community and to all members of the University community
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and priorities, and appreciate and interact well with diverse personalities and cultural backgrounds
