Miles Employment Group has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Executive Assistant to work with their leadership team in Burnaby. This vital role provides administrative support, meeting coordination, event planning, travel coordination, expense reporting and many other tasks.

The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient and able to work well with all levels of employees. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of business meetings and events, including data entry, calendar management and document formatting.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange travel plans, manage expenses and prepare reports with receipts and other documentation.


This position requires a high level of expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will also possess creative problem-solving skills, practical time management skills and the ability to take initiative.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience supporting an executive or manager.
  • Expert-level skills in MS Office, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Minute-taking experience required.
  • Advanced calendar management skills with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.


This is a 6-month onsite contract opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing exceptional administrative support.
