Aviso Wealth Inc is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Wealth Management. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the opening, maintenance, and closure of accounts across various Aviso platforms.

This position involves providing daily guidance, training, and motivation to staff, problem-solving, and ensuring processing and responsibilities are completed by deadlines and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of operations professionals to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts.
  • Implement quality controls and facilitate regular quality assurance tests to maintain high-quality service levels.
  • Collect and analyze key performance metrics for the department to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to new and existing staff members.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education and continuing education relating to the investment industry, specifically operations functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, with the successful completion of the IFIC and/or CSC being an asset.
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in the investment industry, including past supervisory experience for a minimum of 1-2 years.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, with bilingual skills in French being an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including delegation and mentoring.
