Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Social Worker 2 to join the Inpatient Psychiatry team in Sechelt, BC. As a member of this team, you will provide clinical and consultative social work services to clients and families, focusing on how their relationships are affected by their environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct social and psychosocial assessments, provide individual, family, and group counselling services, maintain client records, and attend interdisciplinary clinical/case conferences.
- Identify applicable community resources for clients and contribute to the effectiveness and development of community resources.
- Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.

Qualifications
- Master of Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work and one year of post-Baccalaureate experience in a healthcare setting or one year in a practicum in a related setting.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
