About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Leader to join our team at Toronto Hydro. In this role, you will lead the preparation and analysis of regulatory financial reporting accounts and documents, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards and requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end process of regulatory financial reporting documents
  • Supervise accounting professionals and provide performance and attendance management feedback
  • Remain current and compliant with emerging International Financial Reporting Standards and Accounting Procedural Handbook accounting and disclosure requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in accounting, including 3 years of people/project leadership experience
  • Strong public company and regulatory reporting, technical accounting and MD&A experience
  • Knowledge of modified-IFRS and OEB Accounting Procedures Handbook reporting standards
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
Estimated Salary Range

$110,000 - $140,000 per year
