Research Technologist

About the Role
The Saskatchewan Research Council's Rare Earth Element Division is seeking a highly motivated Research Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will assist with the design, development, testing, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems for various research and development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of instrumentation and control systems for research and development activities
- Maintain and repair laboratory and pilot-scale equipment
- Prepare samples for analysis and conduct routine laboratory tests
- Coordinate logistics for materials and parts across various suppliers and SRC locations
Requirements
- Diploma in mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, or design and manufacturing engineering technology
- Two to five years of experience in design and drafting, software programming, research and development testing, and hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems
