The Equipment Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the coordination and administration of job site equipment and vehicles, working closely with the Equipment Management – Utilities Fleet team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and coordinating equipment rentals for job sites, including rental reconciliation.
  • Maintaining accurate equipment lists.
  • Generating various reports, such as equipment variance, utilization, and mileage for safety purposes.
  • Allocating assets to job sites.
  • Administering equipment adjustments and transfers.
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding equipment.
  • Coordinating with shop supervisors regarding equipment availability.
  • Supporting annual registration renewals.
  • Providing education on equipment processes and procedures to job sites.
  • Conducting site audits.
  • Coordinating GPS/Telematics solutions, installations, and repairs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Supporting operations teams within and outside British Columbia.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Experience with project or equipment administration is an asset.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new computer programs, such as SAP.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines, using initiative and requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
