The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts.
  • Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Replace parts as required to ensure continuous production.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
