About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced HR Systems Manager to lead the implementation of our HR technology roadmap. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing HRIS systems, configuring and testing new modules, and providing comprehensive post-implementation support.
The HR Systems Manager will be responsible for managing external vendors and consultants, ensuring the effective and timely delivery of services and support. They will also be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance of existing modules, assessing system releases, and promptly addressing system issues, errors, and updates.
Key Responsibilities- Lead key projects to support our HR Technology Roadmap by researching, configuring, and testing new HRIS modules and other HR systems, while keeping the user experience top of mind
- Provide comprehensive post-implementation support for HRIS Workforce Management
- Manage external vendors and consultants as needed to drive accountability and ensure the effective and timely delivery of services and support
- Manage the ongoing maintenance of existing modules, including assessing system releases and promptly addressing system issues, errors, and updates
- Deliver insightful system-based analytics to HR, producing metrics and reports from HR data
- Coordinate and configure integrations between HRIS and other business applications and platforms
- Elevate system functionality to ensure a seamless and user-friendly employee experience
- Responsible for ensuring best practices on security role creation and administration
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to HR System Analyst to foster their professional growth
- 5+ years of practical experience with HRIS systems implementation, configuration and support
- Proven expertise in project and change management
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR and Payroll processes and cyclical events
- Strong analytical skills pertaining to data, business processes, and system functionality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information
- Advanced Excel skills: specifically Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
- Previous HRIS experience, SQL and Power BI are considered assets
- Working knowledge of change management fundamentals
- Competitive salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience, plus a performance-based bonus program
