Truck Driver

Calgary Pro Movers is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and handled.
- Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure that our trucks are always in good working condition.
- Inspect Vehicles: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that our vehicles are in good working condition and that all safety protocols are followed.
- Tarping and Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by properly tarping and securing all loads.
- Transport Hazardous Goods: Transport and handle hazardous goods safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations.
- Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Work Experience: Have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Be willing to relocate and work on the road, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
