Food Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Moosomin Country Squire Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage for peak periods.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
