Job Description
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Certification Standards Officer to drive the success of our forest certification and safety systems. As the main contact for audits and compliance, you will be at the forefront of shaping our practices and ensuring that our program operates smoothly and delivers timber to market.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A diploma or degree in resource or forestry management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Three years of experience in operational field forestry activities, including timber harvesting monitoring, cut-block development, forest road engineering, silviculture, and timber tenure development and administration;
- Registration with Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC) as a Registered Forest Technologist or equivalent;
- Experience with Environmental Management Systems, Sustainable Forest Management, and Safety Certification Systems;
- A valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence that does not limit or restrict your ability to conduct the duties of the job.

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $76,071.18 - $86,658.48 annually, plus $44.49 bi-weekly isolation allowance for Fort St. James.
