Elementary Occasional Teaching Position for Year 2 Bachelor of Education Students

The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking applications from current Year 2 Faculty of Education students for an Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster (JK-8) position.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occasional teaching services to students in grades JK-8
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support student learning and well-being
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Current Year 2 Faculty of Education student scheduled to graduate in Spring/Summer 2025
- Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate qualifications as recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
