About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper Receiver to join our team at Brother Choice Food Ltd O/A Cash & Carry. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods for our goods.
  • Schedule Distribution: Plan and coordinate the distribution of goods to our customers and partners.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure timely and secure delivery.
  • Inspect and Verify Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure they match our orders and are in good condition.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and customer interactions.
  • Supervise Material Handlers: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Setting: This position is based in a retail/wholesale establishment or distribution centre.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with loaders is a plus.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and being physically demanding.
