Job Summary:

At Italian Centre Shop, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prioritize providing exceptional customer service to deliver a positive customer experience
* Review and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy
* Prepare, load, and deliver a wide variety of Italian Centre Shop products to clients within the city and surrounding areas
* Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers
* Engage with customers, answer questions, and promote products and services to enhance loyalty, sales, and profits
* Assist in the loading and unloading of products from trucks in a safe manner
* Process transactions accurately and efficiently by reviewing the packing and delivery slips and invoices
* Pick, pack, seal, and label products to ensure they are ready for shipment
* Deliver high-quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
* Promote a positive company image by actively engaging with employees, customers, suppliers, and the community
* Fill out logs as directed by the manager
* Ensure a log is kept of all returns, including the reason for the return, and report returns to the manager daily

Requirements:

* High school or GED from an accredited school system or program
* A minimum of two-year experience in a warehouse role
* A minimum of two-year experience in a customer-focused role

Working Conditions:

* Required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, days, holidays, and occasional weekends
* Required at times to work with challenging customers and/or situations
* Exposed to hot and cold environments
* Exposed to loud noises and moving equipment
