About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services.
Responsibilities:
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen, including dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas.
- Dishwashing and Preparation: Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand, as well as prepare and cook simple food items.
- Table Setting and Maintenance: Set tables with linens, plates, glasses, and silverware, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs after meals.
- Waste Management: Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen and dining areas.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Working Conditions:
- This is a permanent full-time position with 30-44 hours per week.
- You must be fluent in English to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $15-$20 per hour, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive training and opportunities for career advancement.
