We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Business Optimization and Systems team at CMHC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in transforming the way we do business to enable CMHC to achieve its strategy.

About the Role

This is a temporary position until December 2025. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the business usage of data and how it interacts between systems. You will provide advice and guidance on operational data elements, data structure, and tools to interact with data. You will also interface with the client community and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand business usage of data and its interactions between systems
  • Provide advice and guidance on operational data elements, data structure, and tools
  • Interface with client community and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Document current and proposed business processes
  • Troubleshoot data-related incidents, support hotfix and long-term solutions
Requirements

An undergraduate degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of data-related experience, including cross-system integrations, is also required. Proficiency in Cloudera Hue, Collibra, Databricks, Hive, R, Spark, Python, and SQL is essential. Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, DevOps, Azure, and Custom Applications built with microservices is preferred. Strong communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical topics with non-technical audiences, are also required.
