Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Wendcorp Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff members are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that our restaurant operates within budget.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights into our restaurant's operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
