Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Whitetooth Grill Server to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a Whitetooth Grill Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience, and contributing to the success of our resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Take and enter guest food and beverage orders in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Cash Handling: Perform all cash handling duties, including opening, balancing, and closing, to maintain a secure and efficient operation.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Clean and stock the dining area to provide a pleasant environment for our guests, and contribute to the setup, execution, and take-down of functions and special events.
  • Team Support: Ensure other team members are supported in their roles as necessary, and participate in season opening and closure procedures.
  • Flexibility: Work flexible shifts with varying hours, primarily working part-time between 24 to 40 hours per week, weather permitting.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Possess your Serving It Right or other responsible service of liquor certificate.
  • Experience: Have previous experience in a customer service and cash handling role, and be proficient with Point-of-Sale software.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 30 lbs, and withstand exposure to extreme weather conditions in a mountain environment.
  • Skills: Be an intermediate to advanced skier/snowboarder, as you will need to access this mid-mountain location, and be comfortable operating a snowmobile while pulling a loaded trailer.
  • Education and Training: Have previous food service or preparation experience, and hold a current Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 3 certification, if applicable.
