Electrical Engineer Job Description

EBC Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the construction of major infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, and marine installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for dam and hydroelectric projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports, for electrical distribution, protection, and control systems.
  • Ensure design compliance with industry guidelines, codes, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan, coordinate, and control projects.
  • Work closely with technical teams to coordinate engineering work and ensure quality assurance.
  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, and components, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registered member of EGBC required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience in hydroelectricity and dams is considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and specialized software.
