Reportingto the Project Manager and Project Director the Electrical Engineerwill be responsible for thefollowing:
- Preparationof drawings specifications reports and other technical documentsfor electrical distribution protection controls and other auxiliarysystems for dam and hydroelectricprojects;
- Ensuredesign compliance with guidelines codes regulations and otherreferencedocumentation;
- Assistproject managers in the technical planning control and coordinationofprojects;
- Workclosely with technical teams to coordinate engineeringwork;
- Ensurequality assurance ofdeliverables;
- Evaluationof electrical/controls systems products andcomponents;
- Reportwriting and equipmentrecommendation/selection;
- Incorporationof engineering changes intodesign;
- Otherduties asassigned.
Requirements
- Postsecondarydegree in ElectricalEngineering;
- Registeredmember of EGBC isrequired;
- Minimum5 years of experience in Constructionindustry;
- Experiencein hydroelectricity and dams is considered anasset;
- Strongcomputer skills with various software experience including MSOffice BlueBeam ACCetc.
- BilingualismFrench and English would be considered anasset.

Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered memberof EGBC is required; Minimum 5 years of experience in Constructionindustry; Experience in hydroelectricity and dams is considered anasset; Strong computer skills with various software experience,including MS Office, BlueBeam, ACC, etc. Bilingualism, French andEnglish, would be considered an asset.
