L3Harris Technologies is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for determining the order of operations to be performed and the necessary tools by consulting drawings, work orders, and other relevant data.

Key responsibilities include running drawn parts, reference lines, and reference points on metals by calculating linear and angular dimensions and using reproduction equipment and measurement precision. You will also be responsible for making profiles and sheet metal parts or completing the manufacture of machined parts.

Additional duties include performing operations according to tight tolerances, such as manual shaping of frame parts, fins, tubes, etc. You will also be responsible for laminating the edges of parts, removing asperities on contoured surfaces with difficult access, shaping profiled connections to repair damaged parts, and aligning work pieces deformed by heat treatment.

Requirements include a vocational diploma in precision sheet metal work or a DEC in aerospace engineering or any other relevant diploma or military equivalence. 3 to 5 years of experience in the aeronautic industry is an asset. Bilingualism is also an asset.
