Aerospace Assembly Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma of College Studies (DEP) in the assembly of aerospace structures and 1-3 years of relevant experience. They must be able to understand and work from technical drawings as well as other written instructions or design specifications.
Responsibilities include identifying and adjusting aircraft system structural systems to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and other procedures; repairing and revising aircraft structural systems, manufacturing, assembling, and machining aluminum and composite parts; performing routine maintenance and reporting; informing the supervisor of irregularities in work tasks; ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with Nolinor Aviation's quality standards, policies, and procedures, and applicable regulations; working closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure that the work is delivered on schedule; ensuring that the workplace is clean and safe at all times; promoting the quality management system and providing suggestions for improvement; adhering to and implementing safety policies; and performing other related duties.
A competitive salary up to $40.14/hour, paid weekly, is offered, along with an evening shift premium of $3/hour, additional $3/hour for overnight stays away from base, option to build a 40-hour time bank, renewable throughout the year, comprehensive benefits package, employer-contributed RRSP, annual profit-sharing bonus, 10 paid sick days, uniforms provided, and free on-site parking.
This position requires proficiency in French, both spoken and written, good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, to read manuals, excellent judgment, attention to details, familiarity with a variety of pneumatic, manual, and sheet-metal tools, mathematical and analytical skills, and ability to be accurate at a high level of quality and predictability.
