Nuclear Inspector - Level B
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Inspector - Level B to join our team at BWXT Canada Ltd. in Cambridge, Ontario. As a Nuclear Inspector - Level B, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive examinations and ensuring the quality of our nuclear components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive examinations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
- Create inspection reports and maintain documentation.
- Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
- Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and regulations.
- Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Must possess either MT CGSB-2 or PT CGSB-2, plus two of the following: CEDO, UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd., 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company, or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT Canada Ltd.
- Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry.
- Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
- Proficient with computer software.
- Must be available to work any of the following shifts: days, nights, or weekends.
