Regional Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee and coach our growing team of Veterinarians and clinical staff. This is a critical role that will enable the performance of our team and contribute to the success of our clinical practices within the BC Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the deployment of our people and resources, including budgets, facilities, and inventory.
  • Develop strategic business planning to shape our future and drive growth.
  • Lead change initiatives and develop and implement clinic performance improvement plans.
  • Lead the training and professional development of our veterinary teams and staff.
  • Develop, maintain, and promote adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
  • Track, monitor, and evaluate overall key hospital performance metrics.
  • Manage scheduling of doctors and staff.
  • Manage inventory to ensure appropriate stocking and pricing.
Requirements:
  • You will lead with empathy and true heart leadership.
  • University degree in a relevant field (management, medicine, science, etc.).
  • Previous experience in a managerial role with a team of at least 10 to 20 people.
  • Previous experience in veterinary medicine or a healthcare field (dental, human medicine) is an asset.
  • Previous experience managing multiple locations within the service industry.
  • Willingness to regularly commute to different locations.
  • Veterinarians seeking to transition from medicine to management are strongly encouraged to apply.
