Job Title: Heavy Haulage Driver - Cross-Border OpportunitiesEstimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per yearWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Haulage Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Haulage Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fleet of trucks, transporting goods and materials across the country, and ensuring the safe delivery of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating and Maintaining Equipment: You will be responsible for daily inspections, maintenance, and repair of your assigned vehicle, as well as adhering to all safety regulations.
- Cargo Handling: You will load and unload goods, operate trailers, and perform other tasks related to cargo handling.
- Logistics and Communication: You will maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and other relevant data, as well as communicate effectively with dispatchers and other stakeholders.
- Licenses and Certifications: A valid Class 1 or A driver's license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement are required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in heavy haulage driving is preferred, but not necessary.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to safety.
- Salary: An estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $85,000.
- Bonus: Eligible for bonuses based on performance.
- Mileage Paid: Mileage expenses are reimbursed.
- Dental and Health Plans: Comprehensive dental and health plans are offered.
This is a physically demanding role that requires working long hours, often in isolated areas. You must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), sit for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
