About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Supply Coordinator to join our team in Claresholm. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical supplies are issued, replenished, and restocked throughout the hospital and various health centers. This includes moderately complex clerical and manual duties involved in shipping, receiving, warehousing, as well as transporting and delivering supplies within the sites and between the various AHS sites within the town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming requisitions and distribute supplies in accordance with AHS guidelines and standards
  • Complete cart audits for quality assurance and communicate frequently with stakeholders to ensure appropriate and correct quantity of supplies are available
  • Track and report on inventory to prevent overstocking
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with the picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving of orders for hospital supplies, equipment, and/or food

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Able to push and pull heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs
  • Able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Able to read, write, and comprehend English fluently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, customers, and vendors
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with limited supervision
  • Reliable, cooperative, and able to demonstrate an effective service attitude
  • Maintain a positive attitude while adapting to changing priorities
  • Experience in the use of a computer and Microsoft Software
  • Able to occasionally move pallets using a manual jack, exceeding 1200kg requiring a pushing force of 20kg
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with no GDL restrictions

What We Offer

A competitive salary of $54,000 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience.
