Culinary Specialist Job Description

At 124 ON QUEEN HOTEL AND SPA, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring the highest quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and reliability in a dynamic work environment
