Savers / Value Village is one of the largest for-profit thrift operators in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Our mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature.
We supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items that have been donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. We purchase these items directly from our nonprofit partners, redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and on to our store racks and shelves for reuse.
We operate under several brands, including Savers (in the U.S.), 2nd Ave (in the U.S.), Value Village (in the U.S. and Canada), Unique (in the U.S.), Village des Valeurs (in Quebec) and Savers Australia.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence in our stores.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and improve customer experience.
- Maintain high standards of store appearance, merchandise presentation, and visual merchandising.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A strong track record of retail management experience, preferably in a similar industry or environment.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve results.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A keen eye for detail and a focus on operational excellence.What You'll Get
