About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Corky's Liquor Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, including managing staff, selecting and procuring merchandise, planning budgets, and monitoring revenues and expenses.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience in a retail or liquor industry setting. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of 3-4 staff members. A strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management is essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3-4 staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees
  • Select and procure merchandise for resale, including wine and spirits
  • Plan and manage budgets, including forecasting revenue and expenses
  • Monitor and control daily operations, including inventory management and customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction

Benefits
