Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at YLZ Accounting Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll administration, including preparing paycheques and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Asset Languages: Proficient in Chinese language.
  • Work Setting: Urban area.
  • Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, prepare tax returns, prepare trial balance of books, reconcile accounts.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Quick Books, Simply Accounting, MS Office, Sage Accounting Software.
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
