Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at YLZ Accounting Professional Corporation. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with employment standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
