Building Operations Specialist

At Europro, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior/Intermediate Building Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our assigned building in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and control property equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all building systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and HVAC equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including inspections, tests, and record-keeping.
- Assist with coordinating access for third-party service providers and shut down of building systems as needed.
- Respond to tenant calls and emergencies, and provide excellent customer service.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of direct work experience in building operations/facility management.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire alarm panels, sprinkler systems, emergency power generators, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with automated preventative maintenance programs and building automation systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as being on a rotation on-call schedule is required.
