Are you an engineering student looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of pipeline engineering? Do you want to work with a reputable company that specializes in providing innovative solutions for the energy sector?

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pipeline Engineer Intern to join our team in Calgary, AB. As a member of our Advisory Services Department, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop your skills in pipeline hydraulic analysis, internal and external pipeline corrosion management, and computational fluid modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply engineering concepts such as fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics to carry out consulting studies.
  • Work effectively and efficiently within a group of engineers and consultants to deliver high-quality results.
  • Model pipeline systems and associated facilities from upstream, midstream to downstream using industry-leading software.
  • Compile data received from clients and determine the appropriate methodologies and calculations to solve issues at hand.
  • Engage in innovative energy transition projects involving hydrogen and carbon capture pipelines.
  • Document analyses, processes, and procedures in a technical format to clearly deliver results and impact of those results to clients.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Student (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Oil & Gas or Pipeline) from an accredited university.
  • Strong technical writing skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, ability to pick up technical concepts quickly.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Travel requirement 10%.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
