Associate Director of Care RN

At Tullamore Care Community, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Director of Care RN to join our team. As a key member of our Long Term Care team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that address the individual needs and preferences of residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas of improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance resident outcomes.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate nursing professionals, including Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Practical Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses (RPN/LPN), and Personal Support Workers or Health Care Aides (PSW/HCA).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing long-term care homes in Ontario or British Columbia.
- Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post-diploma education.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses.
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a nurse in Long Term Care.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting.
