Key Responsibilities:

You will lead a dynamic team of technical leads and individual contributors in game development, promoting an atmosphere of innovation and collaboration.

  • Team Management: Develop a leadership style that fosters growth, productivity, and a sense of belonging among team members.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with game and technical team members to define goals, milestones, and technical solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Solution Architecture: Work with product management, leadership teams, and partners to design and implement technical solutions that align with project schedules and requirements.
  • Technical Decision-making: Use your expertise to make informed technical decisions, articulating the WHAT, HOW, and WHY for our technology roadmaps.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of learning and improvement.
  • Quality Review: Review completed engineering deliverables to ensure they meet our standards of quality and reliability.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Experience working on large-scale game development projects or collaborative platforms. A comprehensive understanding of the CI/CD space and proficiencies in risk management. 8+ years as a software engineer or developer with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience working with public cloud infrastructure and proficiency in multiple programming languages.

Management Skills:

3+ years of experience as a people manager, with a focus on creating a culture that prioritizes game teams as valued customers. Mentorship, coaching, and goal-setting skills, with experience in negotiating with partners and vendors.
