About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil, Structure and Architecture Designer to join our team at G Mining Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality engineering drawings and designs for heavy industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, for heavy industrial buildings.
  • Collaborate with engineers to take designs from concept to final product.
  • Coordinate with different disciplines to produce complex structural drawings.
  • Follow G Mining design guidelines and procedures.
  • Check 2D drawings and 3D models for clashes and constructability.
Requirements
  • Hold a technical degree in technology or equivalent training, with specialization in concrete, steel, and architectural design.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience in concrete and steel design.
  • Experience in preparing and drafting designs for structural steel and detailing.
  • Experience in designing reinforced concrete, masonry and/or wood structures is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of drafting software, with mastery of Revit being an asset.
  • Ability to communicate in French and/or English, both speaking and writing.
