Job Title: Roofing Specialist

Atlas-Apex Roofing (Nova Scotia) Inc. is seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, single-ply roofing systems, and metal roofs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, single-ply roofing systems, and metal roofs.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Install sheet metal flashings.
  • Repair and maintain roofing systems, including identifying and addressing leaks and other issues.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
