Job Title: Agricultural Labourer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Labourer to join our team at Top Tomato Foods. As an Agricultural Labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to vegetable harvesting and farming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the technique of hoeing between the row
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
  • Write daily basic progress reports
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset

Work Environment:

  • Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato)
  • Outdoors
  • Wet/damp
  • Odours
  • Dusty
  • Hot
  • Noisy
  • Cold/refrigerated
