Restaurant Supervisor Position with Competitive Salary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we offer a range of benefits, including dental and health care plans, paramedical services coverage, vision care benefits, group insurance benefits, and life insurance.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Restaurant Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules and deadlines;
- Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner;
- Supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
- Training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures;
- Estimating ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation;
- Hiring and managing food service staff;
- Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
- Ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards;
- Addressing customers' complaints or concerns;
- Supervising and checking assembly of trays.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, and physical demands associated with food service work. Attention to detail is essential in this role.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must possess:
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service setting;
- A non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years or equivalent experience;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances;
- Dependability and strong work ethic.
