Job Title: Part-Time Elementary Math Teacher/Tutor

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time Elementary Math Teacher/Tutor to join our team. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students, teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels, following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the current Grade 5 to Grade 8 math curriculum
  • Excellent math skills
Work Environment:

This role is in-person, and you must be able to commute to the location. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Salary and Schedule:

Salary: $17 - $19 / hour. Schedule: Evenings.
