Job Summary:

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager/Scientist or Engineer to lead contaminated sites and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and project management experience in environmental site assessments, remediation, and excess soil planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in the design and project management of contaminated sites, remediation, and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to CSA and O.Reg.153/04 requirements.
  • Develop remedial design and site remediation plans, including excavations, ISCO, bioremediation, and mechanical technologies.
  • Manage excess soil and waste on infrastructure projects, contributing to planning and design inputs as per O.Reg. 406/19.
  • Peer review technical documents and reports.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation on major and minor pursuits.
  • Manage project finances, track budgets, and maintain client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering, or similar programs.
  • 5+ years of consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within a Canadian (preferably Ontario) jurisdiction.
  • 2+ years managing contaminated sites projects with consulting values over $100K and/or as a project manager or technical designer.
  • Strong technical knowledge of environmental site assessments, excess oil planning, and various remediation approaches.
  • Experience working with diverse multidiscipline and/or international project teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financially literate from a project management perspective.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality work products.
