Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager/Scientist or Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing contaminated sites projects, coordinating investigations and remediation efforts, and providing technical leadership in the design and project management of contaminated sites, remediation, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contaminated sites projects, including project planning, coordination, and execution.
- Coordinate investigations and remediation efforts, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, remedial design, and site remediation oversight.
- Provide technical leadership in the design and project management of contaminated sites, remediation, and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review technical documents and reports.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of consulting experience in environmental project management, with a strong understanding of applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations.
- 2+ years of experience managing contaminated sites projects, with a focus on project management, coordination, and execution.
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental site assessments, excess soil planning, and remediation approaches.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
