Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the assessment and migration of our existing Hadoop on-prem platform to a cloud-based solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex infrastructure projects and experience with Hadoop and cloud migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current Hadoop on-prem platform and develop recommendations for migration to CDP or AWS cloud
  • Develop cost estimates and support the execution of approved recommendations
  • Manage the project from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in delivering technology projects, with a strong focus on project management and cloud migration
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-year, multi-million dollar infrastructure projects
  • Strong Agile Delivery experience and Hadoop expertise
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and change management skills
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Previous engagement with BMO will be an asset
