Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at MSM Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- Record and balance daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide staff training and development opportunities, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain records of food quantities used, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Manage staff and assign duties, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
As a Shift Manager at MSM Restaurants, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results. You will be required to stand for extended periods, ensuring that you are physically capable of performing the demands of the role.
Requirements:- Availability for shift or on-call work, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Current legal ability to work in Canada, with valid documentation.
- Willingness to relocate for this position, with a commitment to the success of MSM Restaurants.
- Residency in proximity to the advertised location, with a strong understanding of the local community.
- Previous experience in the food service industry, with a proven track record of success.
