Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records and communicating with guests and staff as required.
  • Information and Assistance: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring up-to-date records and accurate information.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as required.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, as well as assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Work Term: Work a permanent schedule, with regular hours and minimal overtime.

  • Hours of Work: Work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
