Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Respiratory Therapy Assistant to join our team at William Osler Health System. This part-time position is ideal for students enrolled in their first, second or third year of an accredited respiratory therapy program.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with various tasks under the direct and/or indirect supervision of respiratory therapy staff. This includes practicing safety protocols, assembling respiratory equipment, checking inventory, and data collection as per direction of team leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily circuit checks and assemble respiratory therapy equipment
  • Assist with area, room safety by maintaining a clean and tidy environment
  • Request assistance with assigned duties when needed
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, decision making and critical thinking skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated evidence of excellent academic standing and current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support. Additionally, you should have completed mandatory certifications provided via corporate orientation and defined by unit.

What We Offer

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is around $30-$40 CAD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
