Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Service Team Member to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our Food & Beverage Team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff, maximizing quality of service.
  • Prepare, cook, and plate food to established quality and presentation standards.
  • Ensure that food is received, stored, handled, and prepared in a hygienic and safe manner.
  • Assist with inventory counting and maintain effective communication with all teammates.
  • Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and good storage management.
  • Participate in orientation team meetings, regular cleaning, and season-end cleaning and closing procedures.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A love of and passion for food and cooking.
  • 2-3 years previous kitchen experience.
  • Physical ability to lift to 30lbs and perform manual labor, standing for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Hold a Safe Serve or other food handling certification.
